Show Team 2018 Here We Come!
Showing is a big part of Mikell Farm. It is a place to go to see how you are progressing in your riding skills. We have a ton of fun at the shows along with taking our riding seriously. We have riders showing from 5 years old in Lead Line to select riders in their 60's. So bring your chairs and come and join us for the day!
This year we have over 15 riders that will be showing with us. Due to this large number we will be attending 4 different show series, about 21 shows this year. This will accommodate the variety and level of riders at Mikell Farm. Most of the shows we go to offer a wide range of classes for all skill levels.

Some students show their own horse, but a majority of our riders use Mikell Farm's great lesson horses. Mikell Farm does all of the prep work and provides all equipment that you need to show except for your clothing. You just meet us at the show grounds!

Students with their own horses -
$40.00 per day This includes morning schooling, prepping for individual classes and instruction during the show.
Students using lesson horses/show lease-
$65.00 per day This includes morning schooling, prepping for individual classes and instruction during the show. Also includes using of a school horse, bathing, clipping, banding of horse along with use of all show tack and equipment and help with registration.
Lead liners: $50.00 per day
This includes getting ready for lead line, leader for the rider and instruction as needed. Also includes bathing, clipping, banding of horse along with use of show tack.
Hauling Fee - Shows under 25 miles there is NO fee. Shows over 25 miles and under 50 miles be required to pay a flat hauling cost of 10.00. Shows that are over 50 miles will be charges at a milage rate depending on the number of riders going, rate will be available ahead of time.
